HFTP has negotiated discounted hotel rates for all HITEC attendees and exhibitors at select hotels (the hotels in the event block will be listed soon). You must make your reservation through Orchid Events.
Hotel reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis (while space is available). Submit your request as soon as possible for the best opportunity of receiving your hotel choice. Once your request has been submitted you will receive an email stating it has been received and is being reviewed. Please allow a week for the review process.

All reservations must be received by June 2, 2023, to guarantee availability and conference rates. After this date, reservations will be made based on availability and hotels may charge higher rates.
Room rates quoted are in Canadian dollars and the hotels will bill in Canadian dollars. Use this calculator to determine the current exchange rate, which is constantly changing.
Orchid Events will send reservation acknowledgements within 24 hours via email if booked online or by telephone. If you do not receive your acknowledgement in this time frame, contact Orchid Events. You will not receive a written confirmation from the hotel.
Reservations may be cancelled without penalty until May 1, 2023. After this date, a $50 cancellation fee will apply. Your hotel may charge one night’s room rate and tax if you cancel within 72 hours of arrival date. Through June 15, 2023, changes and cancellations can be made online or by contacting Orchid Events via e-mail at help@orchid.events. After June 15, 2023, contact your hotel to make changes and/or cancellations.

Unauthorized housing companies are approaching attendees and exhibitors to offer hotel rooms at significant discounts. Please beware of these imposters as you may risk losing deposits, discovering hidden costs, up front charges or being bait and switched to hotel rooms you never booked. If you are contacted by anyone asking if you need a room reservation for HITEC, or if they represent themselves as the “HFTP housing provider,” please get as much information as you can and report it to HFTP at attendee@hftp.org.
